Cynthia Shambley is a fashion designer, seamstress, and artist who specializes in creating custom-made fashions for the style-conscious consumer who seeks a trend-setting, quality constructed and functional wardrobe. 

Cynthia Shambley has designed and sewn professionally for over 45 years. Her inspiration came from her parents who were both artists. She inherited this artistic talent as well as she apprenticed under her fashion designer and seamstress mother as well as her two older sisters.

Early on, her talent for creativity and eye for detail in her fashions awarded her titles of "best dressed" but also a business acumen in her sewing prom dresses for her friends, uniforms for a Gospel Choir and uniforms for the High School Pom-pom Team. She went on to designing and sewing wedding and bridesmaid dresses, tuxedos, pageant wear, costumes and custom apparel for women, men, and children.

Before branding was a business strategy, she wanted a name for her business that would capture the essence of her style and designs. The name "Sunday Best" was divinely inspired and is not only historical, cultural, but also inspirational. "Sunday Best" is defined as one's best clothing worn to Church or on special occasions. That is how she describes her clothing, unique, versatile, trendy, expertly sewn, and the best garments in your closet for your special occasions.

She has been featured as a designer and seamstress and has showcased her awe-inspiring fashions in Ohio, Illinois and the Washington DC area. She is now making her collections available to the public for purchase as well as her signature "Sham Shawl," a shawl with sleeves.
